The Gangchen Samling School (G.S School) is an English medium co-educational institution aimed at providing quality education to poor and needy children. Before the Gangchen Samling School came into existence, it was known as Samling Montessori School and was run directly under the aegis of Samling Carpet Industries (P) Ltd.
Gangchen Samling School was established in the year 2003 with the motto of “Education for all” and has been named after His Eminence Lama Gangchen Rinpoche, spiritual guide and guru of our chairman Mr. Tsetan Gyurman Shrestha.

Who can study? It should be made clear that despite this school's priority to educate children of the workers from the carpet industry, it's door are open to all irrespective of gender, class, caste, religion or ethnic background.

It gives me immense pleasure to put forth my few words on behalf of this educational institution. We take pride in becoming successful in imparting knowledge and education to students that come from poor financial backgroud who would have, otherwise, been deprived of education. We want to assure to all that we will continue similar programmes in future as well. In fact, we have plans to come up with more effecitve programmes in the near future. I would like to thank our sponsors for sponsoring the education of these poor and needy students. I also solicit similar support and cooperation from your side in the coming days as wel.
